Oops...not keeping up but a tree on our block beckons. For months it has had these huge fuzzy buds, months. And last week, they started opening up into these huge soft pink blossoms. Oh so beautiful.

I'll get my camera out there.

The new project..

Earl hugged his best friend Mooch very tightly!

They went and sat down …looking out the window at the falling snow…they just stayed still and enjoyed nothing…. and everything!

Saturday beginnings

When I was a kid, I used to think of three things I was grateful for at the end of each day. I'm sure I didn't use the word grateful though. Anyway it makes me wonder why I don't do this as an adult.

1) it's snowing in vancouver and I'm totally inspired by nature's ability to change. Yesterday the water was so blue reflecting the blue of the blue blue sky. Now the water is slate gray, the sky a slightly lighter gray and everything else is white or brown.

2) the birds were playing chase over the water and I got to see it
